Lindsay de Flesco, MD, FACOG

Dr. Lindsay de Flesco is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow in the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Wellesley College, graduating magna cum laude with a major in chemistry and a minor in music.  She earned her Medical Degree from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine, where she earned the Medical Research Award for her project on adolescent eating disorders.  Dr. de Flesco then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts.  Upon graduating from residency, she received the Chief Resident Award for Excellence in Teaching Residents and Medical Students, The Brigid Norton Award for Humanitarianism in Medicine, and the Douglas K. Richardson Perinatal Collaboration Award.
 
Dr. de Flesco treats a variety of gynecologic conditions from menarche through post-menopause.  She is particularly interested in adolescent gynecology, sexually transmitted disease testing, and contraceptive counseling.  Various procedures, including IUD insertions and hysteroscopy, are performed in the office for all medically eligible patients.  Dr. de Flesco emphasizes a “back to the basics” approach to medicine, in that she believes maintaining a healthy lifestyle leads to better overall gynecologic health.  The pillars of her practice are compassionate, thorough medical care and respect for patients and staff alike.
 
Dr. de Flesco is proficient in Spanish.
 
When she is not working, Dr. de Flesco enjoys spending time with her husband and four young children, baking, running, and playing the piano.
